Removing barriers to family planning within African climate policy processes
Room Osiris, Blue Zone
You are warmly invited to join ministers and representatives of intergovernmental organisations and civil society for a timely and inspiring discussion on how African nations and organisations are integrating reproductive choice into climate policy and action.
The session co-ordinated by the Margaret Pyke Trust, MSI Reproductive Choices and Endangered Wildlife Trust will bring together leading experts to share collective developments that are putting reproductive choice at the heart of climate adaptation and resilience building.
The event will also launch a new guide, “Climate change engagement: A guide for SRHR organisations” which suggests practical first steps for the growing number of sexual and reproductive health and rights organisations wanting to start engaging in climate work.
If you will not be in Sharm El-Sheikh for COP27, please join us virtually live and online. To convert the 13:15 Egypt event start time to your own time zone, click here.
